Invisible protection against visible damage
Waxdepån provides a durable protection against scratches on your car’s most vulnerable areas. We use an almost invisible protective film that withstand both degreasing and sunlight. The protective film is UV resistant for up to three years, and easy to remove when it’s time to sell the car, great for maintaining a high second hand value. The film can be applied to all painted surfaces and here are some examples of vulnerable areas:
In the pictures below, you can see marked in green how the transparent foil is placed. Note that the placement can be adjusted slightly based on car model.
Door edges
Protect the delicate paint on the edge of the doors by reinforcing with a transparent film. The film takes the hit and protects the edges against unwanted scratches and damages.

The door handle cups are vulnerable areas for scratching from fingernails, rings and more. Protect the surface with our anti-scratch film.

Doorsill
Protect the delicate paint on the edge of the doors by reinforcing with a transparent film. The film takes the hit and protects the edges against unwanted scratches and damages.

Luggage compartment sill
Since most bumpers are painted today, it’s easy to obtain scratches and damage to this area. Applying a protective film reduces scratching of the paint as bags, prams or dogs are loaded in to your luggage compartment.

Glass sun roof protective foil
Protect the glass door by reinforcing with a transparent foil. A glass door with a protective film resists stone chips significantly better than one without. Note that with many insurance companies, the glass door is not included in the glass insurance, but is classified as a carriage damage. (Check with your insurance company.)

Roof edge foil
The edge of the roof is an area that often receives stone chips. By applying a protective foil to this surface, the risk of damage is significantly reduced.

Headlamp
PPF protective film can be advantageously applied to your headlights. Having to replace a headlight is a costly story. The protective film reduces the risk of stone chips and protects against oxidation.

Paint surfaces we often touch are exposed to high levels of wear and tear. Today, we refuel the car every day, which makes the tailgate an exposed surface. We often see scratches on the charging door, scratches that can be avoided by applying PPF protective film to the door. For safe protection, we offer a comprehensive foiling of the loading hatch.
